Primetel forges ahead with strong support from Signal Capital Partners

The Commissioner of Communications along with his deputy and the director of office met with representatives from Primetel and Signal Capital on 24 July, where clarifications were given about the changes to Primetel’s governance, as well as assurances that the telecoms company will continue to operate as normal.

During the meeting, at the Office of the Commissioner for Electronic Communications and Postal Regulation, the company said it continues to operate as normal without any changes or impact on the services it offers its subscribers, and with the strong support of Signal Capital Partners, its main sponsor.

Communications Commissioner George Michaelides said: “We are very pleased that Primetel continues on its course with a solid foundation, with the support of a strong partner, ensuring the company’s operation and services can continue uninterrupted.”

Primetel’s representatives said: “Primetel continues its activities as normal, true to its development plan with the full support of Signal Capital Partners”.

Primetel is one of Cyprus’ leading telecom providers with over 200,000 subscribers. It offers comprehensive mobile and fixed telephone, internet, television and other innovative digital solutions.
