Evagoras & Kathleen Lanitis Foundation support CUT students

Culture and education have been one of the main pillars of social contribution of the Evagoras & Kathleen Lanitis Foundation since the first years of its establishment.

Therefore, the Foundation's collaboration with the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) comes as a natural evolution of its timeless social contribution, according to an announcement from the Foundation.

The Evagoras & Kathleen Lanitis Foundation, as part of its contribution to the local community, agreed to and implemented together with CUT, a three-year scholarship programme for a certain number of excellent students of the University.

Also, for the same period, it will sponsor the CUT Student Welfare Association. The Foundation, considering education to be the most important factor for the proper development of our society, supports the efforts of CUT students, trying to contribute even to the small extent it can with these scholarships, the announcement notes.

The Evagoras & Kathleen Lanitis Foundation is a non-profit organisation, founded in memory of Evagoras and Kathleen Lanitis, and aims to contribute to society, supporting areas such as health, culture and education. The foundation is also the vehicle for expressing the Corporate Social Responsibility actions of the companies of the Lanitis Group, continuing the realisation of the vision of the Group and the Lanitis family for a practical, long-term contribution to Cyprus and its society.
