Accommodation and food services: 31.9% growth in Q1

The accommodation and food services sector recorded significant growth of 31.9% in the first quarter of 2023, compared to the corresponding quarter last year.

According to data released by CySTAT, the Turnover Value Index for services showed an upward trend compared to the same quarter of the previous year in the sectors of accommodation and food services (31.9%), administrative and support activities (19.1%), professional, scientific, and technical activities (8.5%), and information and communication (1.1%).
