Commerce ministry co-organises business forum in Vienna

A business forum was organised recently in Vienna with the aim of promoting Cyprus as an international business centre. 

The forum was organised by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Trade Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the ministry said in a press release

Representatives of 10 Cypriot companies participated in the forum, which included presentations by the Ministry and representatives showcasing the competitive advantages of Cyprus in the services sector.

Meetings followed with representatives of Austrian companies with the aim of exploring possible collaborations.

The Business Forum took place at the premises of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Economy and was attended by representatives of more than 85 Austrian companies as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in Austria, Andreas Ignatiou.
