Services turnover value up in three sectors in Q3 2023

The Services Turnover Value Index recorded an increase in three sectors in the third quarter of this year and a decrease in one, compared to the same quarter of 2022, according to data published by CySTAT.

Specifically, during the third quarter of 2023 the index was up in the sectors of administrative and support service activities by 19.2%, accommodation and food service activities by 15.7%, and professional, scientific and technical activities by 2.8%. At the same time, a decrease of 8.9% was recorded in the information and communication sector compared to the corresponding quarter of 2022.

During the period January-September 2023, increases relative to the corresponding period of 2022 were observed in the indices of accommodation and food service activities by 19.7%, administrative and support service activities by 16.9%, professional, scientific and technical activities by 5.1% and information and communication by 0.7%.
