Cypriot and German FMs discuss regional and other developments

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos met with German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in Berlin on 2 November, with the two discussing developments in the Middle East, the Cyprus problem and EU-Turkey relations.

Kombos said on his X account: “Substantial in-depth meeting with my colleague @ABaerbock in Berlin today. Our discussion focused on developments in the #MiddleEast. Had the opportunity to elaborate on #Cyprus initiative for a safe, sustainable humanitarian sea corridor to #Gaza. Latest developments in our efforts to restart talks for a solution to the #CyprusQuestion, as well as the state of play of EU-#Turkey relations, were also discussed.”
