Parimatch Cyprus participates in ‘Safer Gambling Week’ for another year

Parimatch Cyprus is once again participating in the National Betting Authority’s Safer Gambling Week.

Katerina Papageorgiou, Attorney at Parimatch Cyprus, was a speaker at the 6th Safe Game Conference held on 9 October at the Filoxenia Conference Centre in Nicosia, an announcement from the company noted, adding that Papageorgiou participated in an interesting discussion on ‘Advertising, recent bans and future paths.’

“In addition, Parimatch Cyprus supports the development of sports in Cyprus by sponsoring the innovative training programmes for sports executives organised by the University of Nicosia,” the announcement continued, adding that the agreement concerns the financial support of three training programmes for 40 sports executives in team sports in Cyprus.

“The programmes consist of 20 specialised modules with the aim of equipping the new Cypriot sports executives with the specialised skills needed to be able to face the new challenges presented in the sports industry,” Parimatch said.

With the central slogan ‘Enjoy the game, play safely,’ Safer Gambling Week is taking place for the 6th consecutive year from 9-15 October 2023.

Its aim is to inform the public about ways to keep gambling safe, to inform them about self-protection tools available to a player, and to make the public more aware of the dangers of problematic gambling and its harmful effects on society.
