The 4th Annual Gathering of the Cyprus Payroll Management Association (CPMA) was held with great success on 15 October 2026, bringing together CPMA members, representatives of the State and the political community, organised and professional bodies, as well as senior executives and business leaders from key sectors of the Cyprus economy.
The strong attendance and broad representation at this year’s event reflected CPMA’s growing momentum and its increasingly important role as a point of reference for the payroll profession in Cyprus.
Of particular significance was the representation of the Presidency of the Republic by the Accountant General of the Republic, Andreas Antoniades.
The event was also attended by political representatives, senior government officials, representatives of organised and professional bodies, as well as officials from relevant government departments and authorities dealing with matters directly related to payroll, employment, taxation, social insurance and migration.
This broad institutional presence highlighted the importance of meaningful dialogue and cooperation between payroll professionals, the State, employers and organised bodies.
Strong presence from the business community
The business community was equally strongly represented, with leading companies from different sectors of the economy represented by senior executives and industry leaders.
Their presence highlighted the increasingly important role of payroll within modern organisations — not simply as an administrative process, but as a critical business function directly connected to compliance, people management, employment relations and the effective operation of organisations.
The 4th Annual Gathering also provided an important opportunity for networking and the exchange of views, bringing payroll professionals, institutional representatives and business leaders together in the same environment.

Commenting on the success of the event, Theodoros Mantis, President of CPMA, stated:

CPMA also extends its particular appreciation to the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (OEB) for its presence at the event, as well as for its continued support and close cooperation with the Association.

Through its cooperation with the State, relevant authorities, organised and professional bodies, and the business community, CPMA continues to strengthen and further develop the payroll profession in Cyprus, support its members, and contribute meaningfully to the dialogue on payroll and employment matters.
