John Christodoulou: "Always think about your next step" - The hits that every entrepreneur takes and the importance of big dreams

Every business decision is examined from every aspect and a lot of thought goes into the final decision, the Chairman and Owner of Yianis Group, John Christodoulou, pointed out.

Speaking at INSPIRE  2026, during a fireside chat with Sigma TV / Dias Media Group CEO Chrysanthos Tsouroullis, Christodoulou said that a decision must be thought through before making it. “Thorough study of a decision ultimately benefits the business. I think about and analyse everything from A to Z and vice versa,” he said, explaining that decisions are made at the moment of success.

Asked about his success story and the possibility that he has become tired of continuous success, the Chairman and Owner of Yianis Group stressed that success must continue. "I don't want success to stop. Always think about what you will do, your next step. I want big dreams and what I will achieve to be big," he emphasised, among other things, while also highlighting the need for a balance between work and personal life.

John Christodoulou also underlined that every entrepreneur will encounter enormous difficulties on their path, from which they will learn. "You will take a lot of hits," he said characteristically, adding that "if you don't win, it means you didn't want it enough."

He also explained that for every entrepreneur, not only financial gain should play a role, but also self-awareness about their choices and decisions. "To value others, to believe in yourself, to work hard. If you don't do it, it means you don't want it enough," he noted.

Asked about how he manages his collaborations, such as with banking organisations, for example, he stated that there is close cooperation and constant communication on his part, as, as he said, if he were not interested and did not give the necessary importance to the matter, he would not proceed with this collaboration.
