A new package of measures to address the higher cost of living is expected to be put before the Cabinet today, Wednesday, 30 September, with the body due to convene at 4.30pm.
Asked earlier this week about measures to address the higher cost of living, Finance Minister Makis Keravnos said that the Government is working on some packages and one of them is expected to be submitted to the next Cabinet meeting.
He also said that the government is constantly processing and evaluating the situation and will continue to do what it has been doing for so long, to strengthen all social strata, especially the lower classes and vulnerable groups, especially in this period of crisis.
As he mentioned, new measures are also being considered in addition to the existing ones.
