Minister of Defence, Vasilis Palmas, travels to Egypt on Monday to participate in the 6th trilateral meeting of the Defence Ministers of Cyprus, Greece, and Egypt, which will take place on Tuesday, September 22.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Defence, Palmas will meet on the sidelines of the trilateral meeting, with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Saeed Hussein Khalil El-Sisi, and will hold separate bilateral meetings with his two counterparts, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher and Nikos Dendias, during which issues of bilateral cooperation as well as regional matters of common interest will be discussed, with an emphasis on the latest security developments and the prospects for further strengthening their cooperation.
