In the presence of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, who will deliver the opening address, the EY Cyprus Future Realized Forum 2026 will take place on 9 September 2026. The Forum is a leading platform dedicated to exploring the future of foreign direct investment (FDI) and enhancing Cyprus' attractiveness as an investment destination.
Under the central theme "Cyprus Future Realized: Bridge. Accelerate. Grow.", the Forum, held under the auspices of Invest Cyprus, will bring together government representatives, members of the international investment community, business leaders and institutional stakeholders, creating a platform for meaningful dialogue on the policies, reforms and strategies that can further strengthen Cyprus' competitiveness and investment appeal.
Building on the findings of the EY Cyprus Attractiveness Survey, the Forum aims to transform insights into action by fostering discussion around policy priorities and collaborative initiatives that can contribute to the development of a modern, resilient and sustainable investment environment.
International Figures and Leading Speakers
The programme will bring together prominent figures from the fields of politics, economics and business.
Among them are Jan Peter Balkenende, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands, who will share European perspectives on competitiveness and sustainable development, and Bruno Maçães, former Portuguese Secretary of State for European Affairs and internationally renowned geopolitical analyst.
The event will also feature Michael Damianos, Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, alongside senior EY executives.
Ronald Attard, Country Managing Partner of EY Cyprus, Stelios Demetriou, Strategy & Transactions Services Leader at EY Cyprus and M&A Leader for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe and Central Asia, and George Tziortzis, Consulting Services Leader at EY Cyprus, will share insights and perspectives on Cyprus' investment environment and growth prospects.
Among the distinguished speakers is Marios Tannousis, CEO of Invest Cyprus, who brings more than a decade of international experience in financial services, including senior executive positions at Société Générale, as well as extensive expertise in investment, capital markets and business development.
The Survey Capturing Investment Trends
A key part of the agenda will be the presentation of the findings of the EY Cyprus Attractiveness Survey, which highlights the trends shaping the investment landscape in Europe and Cyprus, as well as the factors influencing the decisions of international investors.
This will be followed by two panel discussions examining, firstly, how Cyprus can further strengthen its competitiveness amid technological and geopolitical developments and, secondly, the survey's findings on the country's position as an investment destination.
