As global investment flows continue to shift and competition for foreign direct investment (FDI) intensifies, Cyprus has a unique opportunity to strengthen its position as a competitive and internationally attractive investment destination.
Addressing this challenge, the EY Cyprus Future Realized Forum 2026 will take place on 9 September, bringing together policymakers, investors and senior business leaders for a day of strategic dialogue, thought leadership and collaboration.
Held under the theme "Cyprus Future Realized: Bridge. Accelerate. Grow.", the Forum will explore Cyprus' strategic role as a regional and European investment hub, focusing on the policies, reforms and initiatives needed to enhance the country's competitiveness and long-term growth prospects.
The research shaping the discussion
The Forum is built around the findings of the EY Cyprus Attractiveness Survey, transforming the survey's insights into a platform for meaningful discussion on how Cyprus can further strengthen its investment appeal.
A key focus will be on bridging the gap between the local economy and the international investment community, while promoting stronger cross-border collaboration.
The agenda
The programme features presentations on the key findings of both the European and Cyprus investment attractiveness surveys, alongside discussions on Europe's evolving competitiveness in attracting investment.
In addition, the Forum will examine Cyprus’ current standing as an investment destination through the perspectives of both local and international participants.
Through keynote speeches and expert panel discussions, participants will examine the changing foreign direct investment landscape, the opportunities and challenges facing smaller and southern EU member states.
