Eurobank: Enduring contribution to highlighting foreign investments

Eurobank participated as Elite Sponsor at the 14thInvest Cyprus International Investment Awards, confirming its longstanding support for a forum that highlights the contribution of foreign investments to Cyprus’s economic development and international competitiveness.

The Awards

The awards are held annually by Invest Cyprus in cooperation with GOLD magazine, in the presence of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, and honour international investors and companies that have made a substantive contribution to the development of the Cypriot economy.

Eurobank’s Participation

On behalf of Eurobank, Stefanos Kassianidis, Senior General Manager of Eurobank, presented one of the evening’s awards, underscoring practically the Group’s commitment to strengthening the country’s investment momentum.

In an interview with GOLD magazine, Kassianidis emphasised that Eurobank’s support of the Invest Cyprus International Investment Awards reflects the Group’s strategic commitment to enhancing Cyprus’s investment attractiveness and promoting the country as a regional business and financial hub.

“Foreign direct investments are a cornerstone of Cyprus’s economic model, and initiatives that recognise excellence in this field strengthen the country’s international position as a reliable, competitive and modern investment destination. Our support aligns with our vision for Cyprus as a hub for regional business activity and cross-border investments,” he said.

As he noted, Cyprus is today in a favourable position to attract investments in high value‑added sectors such as technology, digital services, wealth management, shipping and professional services, leveraging its strong institutional framework, specialised human capital and strategic geographical location.
