The European project ESG LAB is being implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme and aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) operating in the traditional sectors of the Blue Economy, such as coastal tourism, the shipbuilding industry, port activities and aquaculture.
The project carries the code KA210-ADU-22DCE2EA and is implemented from October 2024 to September 2026, with a total duration of 24 months.
Project Objective
ESG LAB seeks to support SMEs in understanding and applying ESG practices (Environmental, Social & Governance), strengthening their adaptation to the new European sustainability requirements and to the objectives of the European Green Deal.
Within the framework of the project, the following will be developed and implemented:
- the ESG LAB digital platform and an online library of educational material, webinars and ESG reporting tools,
- an online quiz and ESG self-assessment tool,
- a Community of Practice with the participation of experts, mentors and stakeholders,
- a pilot mentoring programme for 15 businesses from Greece, Cyprus and Portugal.
