Voters heading to the polls on Sunday are given a range of available services to confirm where they can vote, as authorities highlight multiple options for accessing polling station information.
The Chief Returning Officer announced that the “Where Do I Vote” platform is now live, allowing electors to identify their designated traditional polling station quickly and easily. The service is accessible online at wtv.elections.moi.gov.cy and is available in Greek, English and Turkish. Users can retrieve their voting location by entering their ID number and date of birth.
In addition to the online platform, voters can also obtain the same information via SMS by sending a message to 1199. The format requires typing “wtv”, followed by a space, the ID number, another space and the date of birth. Each message costs €0.04.
A nationwide telephone helpline is also in operation at 77772212, offering further assistance. Charges apply at €0.081 per minute for landline calls and €0.105 per minute for mobile calls.
District-level helplines are also available for voters seeking local assistance. These include 22 804340 for Nicosia, 25 806440 for Limassol, 23 828578 for Famagusta, 24 205999 for Larnaca and 26 801142 for Paphos, as well as the Ministry of Interior line at 22 867640.
The telephone services operate Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 1pm, and will remain available throughout the day on Sunday during voting hours.
Authorities are encouraging voters to verify their polling details in advance to ensure a smooth process at their assigned traditional polling stations on election day.
