The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides visited Raj Ghat, the Memorial dedicated to the late leader Mahatma Gandhi.
The President, who is on the second leg of his state visit to India after Mumbai, was given a tour of the Memorial grounds and laid a wreath and scattered rose petals at the Memorial, as is customary for leaders who visit the monument.
Earlier today, President Christodoulides met with India's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
The President of the Republic will subsequently meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House. The two will hold a private meeting while expanded talks will follow, and the two leaders will then make statements.
Prime Minister Modi and President Christodoulides are expected to sign a Joint Declaration, while a series of Memoranda of Understanding are also expected to be signed in areas such as defence and security, education, and culture.
In the evening, President Christodoulides will visit the Presidential Palace, where President, Droupadi Murmu, will host an official dinner in his honour.
