Dopios, the modern Greek meze restaurants featuring the creative approach and signature dishes of award-winning chef Christoforos Peskias are set to expand in Cyprus via franchise.
Enjoying a strong clientele and recognition among the Cyprus public, Chef Christoforos Peskias is now planning to bring his concept of a complete hospitality experience, designed with a clear international growth strategy, to the island.
As announced, entry into the Cypriot market is a strategic move due to the chef's strong recognition and appeal, the wider openness towards high quality dining and the creation of dining experiences, as well as the alignment of Cyprus' culture with modern Greek cuisine.
It is also noted that the brand translates modern Greek identity into a "global local" gastronomic product, integrating into the local environment and functioning as a premium, modern point of reference, while maintaining its Greek core.
Since 2021, the Dopios Greek tavern has been emphasising Greek products and small producers from all over Greece. It is located on Skouleniou Street, an atmospheric pedestrian street in the center of Athens, under the shade of the plane trees of the holy church of Agioi Theodoroi, while another restaurant also operates in Glyfada, on Laodikis Street.
As part of the expansion in the domestic market and the search for partners for both Dopios and other popular brands, relevant franchise discovery days will be held in Limassol at the end of April.
