SOFTSWISS, a leading global provider of technology solutions for the iGaming industry, announces it has been named the winner of the CyberTech category at the 2026 Global Tech Awards for Pipeguard, its custom-built continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) security platform.
Built as an internal product rather than a loose collection of scanners, Pipeguard combines open-source scanning components with internally developed orchestration, policy-as-code, normalization, and remediation governance.
Designed to protect software delivery pipelines in complex, large-scale engineering environments, Pipeguard embeds security controls directly into the software development lifecycle and continuously checks code, infrastructure configurations, software dependencies and container environments before they are deployed, helping engineering teams identify and resolve vulnerabilities early in development.
The platform integrates SAST, SCA, container image scanning, secrets scanning, IaC scanning, SBOM generation, and custom rule-based validation, while its internally developed components include a unified policy engine and the proprietary Risk Context Score methodology. It was built not only to move security earlier in development, but also to solve a more challenging problem: standardising security controls across a large, heterogeneous, multi-product engineering environment without slowing delivery.
Evgeny Zaretskov, Group Chief Security Officer at SOFTSWISS (pictured above), commented, “This prestigious recognition from the Global Tech Awards highlights SOFTSWISS’ growing role in advancing cybersecurity practices within the iGaming sector and across complex technology ecosystems. In iGaming, where release speed is high and trust is critical, security controls have to work inside delivery, not next to it. Pipeguard helps stop exploitable weaknesses from reaching production, reducing breach risk and raising the security baseline across the entire product ecosystem. This award is a real honour and a testament to the dedication and ingenuity of our security team, who built this platform.”
Pipeguard now operates across more than 200 production repositories of multiple product lines within SOFTSWISS’ technology ecosystem. The platform processes over 2,000 security scans per day, covering the majority of the company’s engineering estate, while more than 90% of critical vulnerabilities are resolved within agreed service-level timeframes.
A key innovation within Pipeguard is the Risk Context Score, a proprietary methodology that prioritises vulnerabilities based on their real business impact. By filtering out low-risk alerts and false positives, the system reduces noisy scanner output by more than 95%, allowing engineers to focus on issues that could genuinely expose systems to attack.
Beyond improving security, Pipeguard also supports compliance and audit readiness across regulated markets. The platform generates verifiable evidence for security controls required under frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS, and supports regulatory oversight in multiple jurisdictions where SOFTSWISS technology is deployed.
