Changes to the UK Non-Dom Regime and International Mobility

Recent changes to the United Kingdom’s non-domicile (non-dom) regime have prompted internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs, and family offices to reassess their strategies. The need for tax certainty, stability, and comprehensive advisory services is now more pronounced than ever.

In this context, different jurisdictions are being evaluated based on a range of factors, including taxation, regulatory environment, quality of life, and the ability to support long-term planning.

The panel discussion titled The Changing UK Non-Dom Landscape and the Implications for International Mobility, to be presented at the 10th Cyprus Professional Services Conference, will provide a comprehensive overview of these developments and their implications.

The discussion will explore client behavior, the criteria used when selecting new destinations, and the approaches adopted by advisors in guiding such decisions.

The panel will feature Kelly Greig, International Private Client Partner at Kingsley Napley, and Alessia Paoletto, Partner at Withers LLP, the panel will be moderated by Michael A. Michaelides, Partner, Business Tax, Deloitte Cyprus.

Cyprus as an International Business Centre

In a period marked by significant geopolitical shifts, evolving regulatory frameworks, and technological disruption, Cyprus continues to stand out with confidence and a refined strategic approach as one of the most resilient and adaptable international business hubs in the Mediterranean.

The Professional Services Conference 2026 returns on 21 April at the Hilton Nicosia, aiming to shape the next era of professional services in Cyprus. It serves as a platform where strategy meets insight, where industry leaders align around opportunities and policy directions, and where the vision of Cyprus as a modern, reliable, and global professional services hub is further strengthened.

Key Themes
