CIM–UWL mark 15 years of strategic partnership in higher education

CIM - Cyprus Business School and the University of West London (UWL) are celebrating 15 years of successful collaboration, marking the occasion with an anniversary ceremony and networking cocktail on Wednesday, 29 April 2026 at 7pm, at the residence of the British High Commissioner in Nicosia.

On the occasion of this significant milestone, the two institutions reaffirm as the longest and most successful collaboration between a Cypriot educational institution and a British university. The invitation-only event will bring together representatives from the academic community, business leaders in Cyprus, alumni, and partners of both institutions.

The collaboration between CIM - Cyprus Business School and the University of West London began in 2011 and has since evolved into one of the most successful examples of academic partnership between Cyprus and the United Kingdom. Through this strategic alliance, hundreds of students have had the opportunity to earn recognized British university degrees by participating in high-quality programmes that combine academic theory with practical application in the business world.

The University of West London is among the most dynamic universities in the United Kingdom, with a student population exceeding 25,000 and a strong international presence. It has received repeated recognition for the quality of its teaching and high levels of student satisfaction, while the Claude Littner Business School stands as a benchmark for business administration studies. As such, it is the No1 UK University operating in Cyprus and the highest ranked.

CIM - Cyprus Business School has established itself as one of the most recognized business schools in Cyprus, with extensive experience in educating professionals and working students. With a strong emphasis on the practical application of knowledge and close links to the labour market, CIM continues to invest in partnerships that enhance learning opportunities and support the professional development of its students.

The 15-year anniversary of this collaboration offers an opportunity to reflect on the journey and achievements of this strategic partnership, while further strengthening the ties between the academic community and the business world.
