The India–Cyprus Business & Investment Summit 2026 arrives this March

At a time when the global economy is seeking stable partnerships, resilient value chains, and new markets, the India–Cyprus Business & Investment Summit 2026: Transforming Tomorrow comes to highlight the opportunities for cooperation between two countries with a strong geopolitical and business footprint. The Summit aspires to serve as a meeting point for strategic choices, investment flows, and human capital.

As a crucial milestone in the run-up to the upcoming visit of the President of the Republic of Cyprus to India in May, the Conference, takes place on 3 March 2026 at Hilton Nicosia. The Summit brings together leading representatives from the public sector and the business community of Cyprus and India, with the aim of strengthening trade relations and promoting targeted investment initiatives. The discussion will focus on sustainable development, technological innovation, and the creation of added value for both markets.

Following the ceremonial opening and welcome by the High Commissioner of India, opening and keynote addresses will be delivered by Ministers of the Republic of Cyprus. These will outline the country’s strategic priorities in the fields of energy, economy, trade, and human capital management, in light of Cyprus’s enhanced role as an EU Member State assuming the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026.

Particular importance is given to the Conference’s core thematic areas, which include energy, connectivity and green transition under IMEEC, technology and innovation, human capital and talent mobility, as well as the facilitation of global trade and investment. The five thematic panels are expected to showcase practical partnerships and realistic solutions within an evolving international environment.

Speaking about the vision of the Summit, the High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, Mr. Manish said:

“This Summit represents a pivotal moment in the India-Cyprus partnership. As Cyprus assumes the EU Presidency in 2026, and as India continues its trajectory as the world's fastest-growing major economy, the convergence of our strategic interests has never been more compelling.

This Summit is about building enduring partnerships that transform societies. With four leading Indian Chambers of Commerce participating and bringing companies across multiple sectors, we are laying the groundwork for tangible outcomes that will benefit our peoples for generations to come.

As we look toward President Christodoulides' historic visit to India in May, let this gathering serve as proof that when India and Cyprus work together — we transform tomorrow.”

The Conference content builds on tangible outcomes from recent high-level visits, such as the Joint Declaration on the Implementation of the Comprehensive Partnership between the Republic of Cyprus and the Republic of India, the 2025-2029 Joint Action Plan to guide relations between Cyprus and India in bilateral, regional, and global issues and the intensifying collaborations in fields like defence, finance, technology, investment and trade.

The Summit concludes with an official closing session and a networking lunch, creating the appropriate environment for new partnerships and business synergies. Transforming Tomorrow captures the ambition for a shared development vision with long-term economic and geopolitical impact.
