Paralimni Marina described as the Municipality of Paralimni-Dheryneia's "largest emblematic infrastructure project," is entering its final phase, marking a new development era for the entire Famagusta district.
In a statement, the Municipality noted that the port projects have already been completed, while the work related to the commercial and residential part of the project is progressing "at an intensive pace" and according to the schedule.
At the same time, the building that will house the Police and Customs Services, as well as the marina's fuel station, are expected to be put into operation within the next month, it is added.
Paralimni Marina is described as "a large, complex and strategically important project, which is expected to contribute decisively to the qualitative upgrade of the tourism product, to the strengthening of the local economy and to the overall development potential of the Municipality and the wider region, strengthening its role as a modern, international maritime tourism destination."
