Konstantinos Haniotis and the Next Generation of Intelligent Transportation

The modern supply chain is undergoing continuous transformation, shaped by digitalisation, the integration of new technologies, and the rise of intelligent transport solutions. The use of data, telematics applications, and smart devices now makes more efficient transport management possible, enhances operational effectiveness, and strengthens both sustainability and business competitiveness. In recent years, the need for comprehensive, cross-border logistics solutions and collaboration at a European level has emerged as a fundamental driver for the development of innovative systems.

On the 4-5 February 2026, at the Pavilion Hall, Nicosia at the 19th Supply Chain & Logistics EXPO, Konstantinos Haniotis, CEO of Telenavis, Vice President of the European Logistics Association and Vice President of ITS Hellas, will present his perspective on the integration of innovation and intelligent technologies into supply chain management. His presentation is expected to offer practical insights on leveraging geographic information systems, smart sensors and online platforms to achieve high efficiency and sustainable operations.

Mr Chaniotis holds a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics. He began his career in 1985 in Investment Banking, evaluating and designing the financing of major public and private sector projects, capital restructuring, business acquisitions and mergers, as well as stock exchange listings on the Athens Stock Exchange.

In 2000, he founded Telenavis, with the aim of developing innovative applications for intelligent transport and geographic information systems. The company’s core focus is the utilisation of emerging technologies, space and communications systems, the internet, and smart mobile and sensor devices.

Under his leadership, Telenavis has developed dozens of innovative software products and services, and has participated in numerous research projects, expanding beyond Greece to the Middle East and Europe. Today, he serves as Chairman and CEO of Telenavis, is a member of the Institute of Logistics & Management, Vice President of ITS Hellas, and a board member of the European Logistics Association. He has contributed to the committee responsible for drafting Greece’s National Intelligent Transport Systems Strategy, participated in the ITS Hellas Telematics Applications Committee, and has been a speaker on Intelligent Transport and Smart Cities at many international conferences.
