The Price Index of Construction Materials for August 2025 reached 119.06 units (base year 2021=100), recording an increase of 1.17%, compared to the same month of the previous year, according to CySTAT data.
Compared to July 2025, the index recorded a negligible increase of 0.01%.
By main commodity category, increases were recorded in mineral products (3.24%), minerals (3.20%) and products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics (0.73%), whereas decreases were observed in metallic products (-0.92%) and electromechanical products (-0.07%).
For the period January-August 2025, the index recorded an increase of 1.23% compared to the corresponding period of 2024.
