Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty is in Cyprus for contacts with the President of the Republic, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President of the Parliament. Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi, will also hold meetings in Nicosia.
Abdelatty is due to be received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by his counterpart, Constantinos Kombos, at 10.15am with whom he will have a private meeting and bilateral consultations, followed by statements to the press.
At noon, he will be received by the President of the Republic together with the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources who is accompanying him. Kombos and Cyprus Energy Minister George Papanastasiou will be present.
Abdelatty is also set to meet with the President of the Parliament Annita Demetriou.
