The shipping industry has always played a vital role in the Cyprus economy and it continues to do so today. Limassol, in particular, hosts a significant maritime cluster with over 200 companies offering shipping and related services, including ship ownership, management and finance.
According to the Central Bank of Cyprus, ship management revenues increased to €916 million during the second half of 2024, which corresponds to 5.3% of Cyprus’ semi-annual GDP as turnover. As a third-party ship management centre, Cyprus is the largest in Europe and amongst the top three worldwide. More than 20% of the world’s third-party management fleet is managed by companies based on the island.
Ahead of the 2025 Maritime Cyprus Conference (Limassol, 6-8 October), the cover story of the 21 September issue of GOLD will focus on the Cyprus Maritime Cluster and the same issue will also contain a Special Promotional Supplement in which companies involved in the industry can present their products and services in detail.
This issue of GOLD will be distributed among attendees of Maritime Cyprus 2025 which is expected to attract over 1,000 participants from all over the world.
Company presentations
Companies wishing to participate in the Special Promotional Feature will have a two-page presentation, consisting of either two pages of text & photos or one page of text and one page an advertisement. The deadline to provide the relevant material is 10 September.
