In his statements after the 2 August meeting, Vafeades said that "we met today with the representatives of the Growthfund of the Hellenic Republic and their advisors."
As he said, "this is another step towards the implementation of our commitment to Larnaca, namely to bring the development project of the port and marina of Larnaca back on track."
Today, he added, the start of the consultants' consultations with the local community was marked, noting that "we had an initial discussion, which will continue later in the afternoon and tomorrow."
"We are confident that interesting opinions will be recorded, and all of these will be taken into account in the further study of the project," Vafeades stressed.
