Road Transport Department reallocates 30 EV Grants under state scheme
The subsidy is available under the supplementary grants of the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme in Cyprus
Subsidies for used zero-emission passenger cars (Category G9) will be reallocated following the cancellation of 30 applications submitted under the supplementary grants of the Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme in Cyprus, the Department of Road Transport has announced.
The application portal will reopen on 2 September at 11:00 am and will remain available until 16 September at midnight, unless funds are exhausted earlier.
Category G9 provides a €9,000 subsidy for the purchase of a used private vehicle with zero CO2 emissions. Applications must be submitted online through the official DRT website.
The implementation of approved applications for this supplementary call must be completed by 31 October 2025, the Department said, adding that it reserves the right to terminate the application process earlier than the stated deadline. In such a case, an announcement will be issued at least a week in advance.
