AUB Mediterraneo has signed its first funding contract with the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) for a Vision ERC project.
The agreement was signed by the university’s Rector, Dr Wassim El-Hajj, with Dr. Rafael Papallas, assistant professor at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, leading this exciting initiative.
RIF’s Director General Theodoros Loukaidis, announced the news on his LinkedIn.
“I was very pleased to hear that despite its short presence in Cyprus, AUB Mediterraneo has already also secured funding from Horizon Europe,” he said, adding: “This Vision ERC project is paving the way for even more success in Horizon Europe and more specifically in the flagship European Research Council programme for frontier research.
