Defence Minister in Copenhagen for informal EU Council meeting
Defence Minister Vasilis Palmas is headed for Copenhagen where he will participate in an informal EU Council on 28 and 29 August in Copenhagen.
The Defence Ministry said that Palmas will take part in a High Level Meeting on enhancing EU cooperation with Ukraine's defence industry and the exchange of experiences through the Scandinavian defence cooperation model.
The informal EU Defence Ministers meeting will discuss further enhancing military support towards Ukraine, promoting EU cooperation with Ukraine's defence industry, as well as implementing the White Paper on Defence "Readiness 2030".
At the same time, the press release added, EU Defence Ministers will review the implementation of military missions and operations of the EU Common Security and Defence Policy.
