Industrial production in June 2025 compared with June 2024 increased by 0.2% in the euro area and by 0.5% in the EU. In Cyprus, it decreased by 0.9%.
According to first estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, the highest annual increases were recorded in Sweden (+13.4%), Ireland (+10.5%) and Latvia (+7.3%). The largest decreases were observed in Bulgaria (-8.2%), Hungary (-4.9%) and Slovenia (-4.3%).
