Cyprus’ increasing e-commerce activity has caught the eye of Greek hybrid logistics and tech company BOX NOW, which recently expanded to the island.
The company now anticipates becoming a leading provider of parcel delivery services in Cyprus and a reliable parcel delivery partner in the Greece- Cyprus last mile interconnection.
Set up at various points around Cyprus, BOX NOW lockers are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week with parcels from Cypriot e-shops delivered the next day, and parcels from Greek e-shops delivered within two working days.
In this way, BOX NOW has opened the way for e-commerce retailers to offer a more convenient and secure delivery option for their customers. Its “send parcel” service offers a safe alternative to home deliveries or traditional courier services. BOX NOW also complements the services of courier companies by expanding their delivery options and, as noted by the logistics business, offering a more efficient and cost-effective last-mile delivery solution.
In more detail, BOX NOW's key services include parcel delivery to lockers from e-shops where customers can select a BOX NOW locker as their preferred delivery address when making an online purchase. The company then delivers the parcel to the selected locker within two working days, and customers can collect it at their convenience.
The “send parcel” service allows customers to send parcels directly from one BOX NOW locker to another, abolishing the need for home or office deliveries. Its target clientele includes businesses and individuals who need to send parcels between locations, through using more than 80 lockers and having a delivery time of two working days. In addition, the company has revealed that parcel shipments from Cyprus to Greece and vice versa are expected to be available soon.
BOX NOW, meanwhile, also plans to significantly expand its network of lockers across Cyprus, reaching at least 7,000 compartments and 150+lockers. The company, in addition, aims to forge strategic partnerships with e-commerce retailers, courier companies, and other businesses who want to broaden their reach and offer seamless integration into existing delivery systems.
It is also worth noting that BOX NOW uses solar energy for its lockers, and promotes digital, environmentally friendly delivery methods.
