OMONOIA has been certified with ISO 37001 against bribery and corruption

OMONOIA has announced that it has become the first football club globally, according to publicly available data, to officially receive the ISO 37001, Anti-Bribery Management System certification.

According to an announcement from the football club, the certification body is EUROCERT (https://en.eurocert.group), while the process was implemented with the support of the compliance consultant Louis Loizou, CBA Ltd.

"After conducting particularly demanding and strict audits by EUROCERT regarding the institutionalisation within our organisation of procedures and operations in accordance with the ISO 37001 standards, OMONOIA succeeded in obtaining the certification," the announcement said.

Club President Stavros Papastavrou commented, "The ISO 37001 certification is a strong message that OMONOIA not only stands strong against corruption, but also ensures that its internal operations are efficient and governed by the principles of ethics and transparency. It is a great honour for OMONOIA to be certified by the strictest and recognisable international standards, further enhancing its reputation. The ISO 37001 certification is part of the broader long-term strategy we have as an Organisation."
