AUB Mediterraneo hosts expert lecture on ‘Intelligent Robotics and Artificial Intelligence: The Present and the Future’

Guest speaker Dr. Alexandros Kouris, a research scientist at the Samsung AI Center, Cambridge, UK, recently gave an expert lecture on ‘Intelligent Robotics and Artificial Intelligence: The Present and the Future’ at AUB Mediterraneo in Paphos.

As noted in a relevant social media post, “Dr. Kouris offered an accessible yet thought-provoking overview of current advancements in robotics and AI, from robotic systems that adapt to real-world environments to the complex ethical questions raised by intelligent technologies.”

The discussion, moderated by Dr. Rafael Papallas, assistant professor at AUB Mediterraneo, highlighted how emerging technologies are moving from research labs into everyday life, and what this means for society, education, and industry.
