Meeting between President and Egyptian Minister of Petroleum cancelled due to fires

In view of the situation with the fire in the Limassol district, the meeting that the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, was scheduled to have on Thursday, 24 July with the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt, Karim Badawi, has been cancelled, according to an official press release.

A meeting he was going to have with the Turkish-occupied Municipalities of Kyrenia, Lapithos and Karavas and other associations has also been cancelled as well as the President's presence at the inauguration of the 1955-1959 Liberation Struggle Monument in Limassol district.
