Limassol Chamber holds emergency meeting over deadly wildfires

The Limassol Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is holding an emergency meeting this morning to assess the evolving situation as wildfires rage through the district, claiming two lives so far and burning thousands of acres of land and homes.

LCCI's meeting is focusing particularly on the businesses that have been affected. In statements to InBusinessNews, its President Andreas Tsouloftas expressed the Chamber’s sorrow over the devastating fires, describing the situation as extremely difficult.
