Mare Resorts presents ‘Taste Cyprus 2025’

For the first time this summer, Mare Resorts proudly presents ‘Taste Cyprus’ – a new series of culinary events featuring two acclaimed chefs, celebrating Cypriot tradition and giving back to the community by supporting ‘One Dream One Wish’ Association.

Following the success of ‘Taste Greece’, an initiative by Atlantica Hotels & Resorts – also a member of Wavemaker Hospitality along Mare Resorts – ‘Taste Cyprus’ brings local authenticity and the unique character of Mare Resorts to the forefront, blending the island’s flavours with the creativity of top chefs.

The experience begins with two exclusive fine dining evenings featuring Michelin-starred Chef Alexandros Tsiotinis, hosted at Mare Ayia Napa on 14 and 15 June. With a menu blending carrot textures, octopus and the beloved Cypriot pastourmas sausage, the chef pays tribute to the island’s land and sea.

In July, the spotlight shifts to Chef Iosif Sikianakis, for a journey through taste, memory and emotion at Mare Ayia Napa on 11th and 12 July, followed by Mare Paphos on 17 and 18 July. His menu blends the culinary identity of Cyprus with Italian influences, with fresh seafood, citrus, olive oil, and herbs, reimagining local flavours through a modern Mediterranean lens.

To complete the experience, George Kassianos, President of the Cyprus Sommeliers Association, will personally present his selected wine pairings to each table, tying together the bold yet familiar flavours of the dishes.

Each evening will also feature live music, from a jazz band and a saxophone performance at Mare Ayia Napa to the gentle sounds of the harp at Mare Paphos.

‘Taste Cyprus’ was made with heart and soul — an invitation to experience the island through food, while giving back to the community with part of the proceeds being donated to the ‘One Dream One Wish’ Association.
