Revolut and Larnaka International Airport begin partnership

Global financial app Revolut, which has over 55 million customers worldwide, has partnered with Larnaka International Airport, in what has been described as a significant milestone in its airport strategy.
According to a relevant press release, in collaboration with Hermes Airports and the International Airport Advertising Corporation – IAAC, which manages advertising programs at 11 airports across Europe and Asia, Revolut is transforming 16 boarding bridges and 20 glass passenger bridges into fully branded touchpoints.

This, the announcement notes, will ensure that millions of quality travellers, particularly from the United Kingdom, Poland, Greece, and Germany, encounter the brand at every step of their journey.
"By the end of 2025, passengers will also be able to receive a physical Revolut card on-site at the airport via vending machines to be placed at selected locations within Larnaka International Airport in Cyprus," it continued.
The press release also pointed out that the action comes after a record-breaking year in 2024 for Larnaca, when more than 7.8 million passengers passed through Larnaka International Airport—a 5.25% increase compared to pre-pandemic levels.
"As Larnaca emerges as one of the fastest-growing tourism hubs in the Mediterranean, Revolut’s presence here addresses an audience that demands seamless, borderless financial tools. By integrating the brand into the daily flow of the airport, Revolut reaches travellers at a critical moment—before takeoff and after landing—when the need for multi-currency accounts, competitive foreign exchange rates, and instant access to digital banking is most pressing," it continued.
It was also noted that Revolut’s airport strategy has already proven highly effective in other European markets.

"Since the first installation of card vending machines at Rome Fiumicino Airport in July 2023, over 100,000 debit cards were distributed in the first year alone—an early indication of the demand for instant, digital financial solutions. Today, travellers already encounter the Revolut brand at airports in Milan, Porto, Helsinki, Berlin, Manchester, and Brussels. Looking ahead, Revolut plans to expand its footprint in Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Vienna, Barcelona, and Madrid during 2025, reinforcing our commitment to making travel finance seamless," the announcement said.
It was also pointed out that Revolut’s suite of services for travellers—from access to airport VIP lounges and eSIM packages to accommodation cashback "perfectly aligns with the expectations of today’s international traveller. By giving customers the ability to freeze, replace, or reorder their cards instantly, wherever they are in the world, Revolut not only improves convenience—it brings peace of mind and security to every journey."
"With Larnaka International Airport in Cyprus as its new take-off point, Revolut is ready to deliver on its promise of a truly borderless financial experience—right at the gateway to the country, just when travellers need it most," the announcement concluded.
