Cyprus Integrity Forum holds Anniversary Annual General Meeting to great success (pics)

The Cyprus Integrity Forum (CIF) Anniversary Annual General Meeting was successfully held on 2 June, marking 15 years of the organisation's continuous contribution to the promotion of transparency and integrity in Cypriot society.
Held at the offices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI,) the event began with a greeting from the Minister of Justice and Public Order, Marios Hartsiotis, who praised the work of CIF and its contribution to strengthening institutions.

This was followed by a brief greeting from the Secretary General of the CCCI, Philokypros Roussounides, who emphasised the crucial role of business in establishing an ethical and transparent society, as well as the long-standing support of the business world in national and economic challenges.

Tatiana Zachariadou, member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Anti-Corruption Authority, also delivered a welcome speech, underlining the importance of social cooperation in the fight against corruption.
The President of CIF, Marios Skandalis, presented the organisation's report on its activities for the year 2024 and the strategic goals for 2025, emphasizing that the fight for transparency requires collective mobilization and constant vigilance.

A special moment of the event was the online intervention of Victoria Penrice, former President of the Chartered Governance Institute of the United Kingdom and Ireland, who shared valuable experiences from the international arena regarding transparency principles.

Awarding of 11 pioneering organisations
At the ceremony, honourary awards were presented to the 11 member organisations of the Business Integrity Forum for their commitment to the values of business integrity and transparency. The organisations and their representatives who received the awards are:
- PwC Cyprus – Philippos Soseilos, Chief Executive Officer
- Deloitte in Cyprus – Pieris Markou, Chief Executive Officer
- KPMG in Cyprus – Christos Vassiliou, Managing Director
- Grant Thornton in Cyprus – Stavros Ioannou, Chief Executive Officer
- Bank of Cyprus – Yiannis Ioannou, Manager People & CEO Office
- Ancoria Bank – Kyriacos Christodoulou, Senior Financial Officer
- Pyrgou Vakis Law Firm – Melina Pyrgou, Lawyer and Managing Director
- Kendris – Sara Gunnervik , Office Managing Partner
- Infocredit Group Ltd – Nicos Ioannou, General Manager
- Logicom – Andreas Zenieris, Group Compliance Officer
- NetU – Petros Floridis, Independent Non-executive Chairman

As part of the event, CIF welcomed the new member of the Business Integrity Forum, CDB Bank. The event was attended by the Executive Director- CEO, Loucas Marangos, demonstrating the bank's active participation in an institution that actively promotes ethical entrepreneurship.
