Sustainable Development and Efficient Supply Chain Management

Effective supply chain management has now become a decisive factor for business success and sustainable development. The integration of digital systems, the optimisation of logistics processes, and the ability to adapt to market needs require strategic thinking and forward-looking planning.

In recent years, companies have been investing in comprehensive 3PL solutions, cross-border logistics, and the digital transformation of the supply chain in order to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance resilience.

Within the framework of the 19th Supply Chain & Logistics Expo, Panagiotis Karampetsos, Regional Supply Chain Manager of FOURLIS Group, will share his insights into strategic supply chain management, focusing on boosting operational efficiency, scaling processes, and integrating digital tools. His presentation will highlight the value of cohesive supply chain organisation and adaptability to different market scenarios, while providing practical solutions for improving business performance.

Mr. Karampetsos has extensive experience in logistics management and last-mile operations across the Southeast European region, having led strategic initiatives in digital transformation and performance optimisation. He holds degrees in Logistics Systems: Engineering & Management from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and in Urban and Rural Planning from Université Blaise Pascal, combining strategic perspective with strong knowledge of economic resilience and risk management. His participation in the 19th Supply Chain & Logistics Expo offers professionals the opportunity to gain ideas for innovation, partnerships, and process optimisation, strengthening competitiveness and efficiency at both national and international levels.

Be part of the future of Logistics and shape the new era of the supply chain

In an era of rapid change—where technology, sustainability, and business resilience define the future—the role of logistics is taking on renewed significance. From robotics and artificial intelligence to green energy and e-commerce, the supply chain is evolving into a strategic driver of growth and competitiveness.

The 19th Supply Chain & Logistics EXPO returns dynamically on 4–5 February at Pavilion Hall, Nicosia, under the central theme: “Digital Transformation, Sustainable Solutions, and Resilience: The Future of Logistics in Cyprus.” The event will showcase ideas, technologies, and trends that are shaping the new era of the sector. It serves as a reference point for all those active in supply chain management, transportation, distribution, warehousing, and trade.

This year's exhibition hosts businesses, decision-makers, technology providers, transport companies, and industrial suppliers, offering an environment where knowledge, experience, and innovation meet.

Conference themes include the transition to digital logistics, smart warehousing, data utilisation, supplier–retailer collaboration, urban distribution, and modern approaches to last-mile delivery.

A key focus will also be the new reality of e-commerce, where speed, reliability, and customer experience determine success. Participants will have the opportunity to explore practical practices and solutions that enhance performance and reinforce the resilience of supply chain networks.

The exhibition concludes with the Supply Chain Awards ceremony, honouring businesses and professionals for their contribution to the development and innovation of the sector.
