Wizz Air cancels flights to and from the UAE until 30 June

Wizz Air has announced that it has cancelled its flights to and from the UAE until 30 June.

In a statement, the airline said, "In light of the escalated situation in the Middle East, and due to the closure of multiple airspaces across the region last night, we have diverted our flights to alternative airports. We are cancelling flights to/from the United Arab Emirates until 30 June, inclusive."

The airline said it remained "committed to ensuring our customers’ safety therefore we take all necessary steps to guarantee your wellbeing. We’ll keep you informed as the situation evolves."
