CBN Young Dragon Awards return for a second year
07:00 - 02 June 2025

The CBN Young Dragon Awards, presented by Cyta, are back for a second consecutive year to celebrate and recognise professionals and executives under the age of 40 who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, leadership within their companies, and contributions to the broader business community in Cyprus.
Nominations for the awards will open in June and, as with last year, will be submitted through an open call via the CBN portal, in the following categories:
- Tourism, Hotels, Leisure, Food and Beverage
- Construction and Real Estate
- Trading and Manufacturing (retail trade, wholesale trade, manufacturing)
- Technology (tech companies, software, hardware, telecommunications, etc.)
- Services (education, health, media, communications, advertising, supply chain and logistics)
- Financial Services (banking, investment, insurance, other financial sectors)
- Shipping
- Professional Services (legal, accounting, consulting)
- Gaming
- Young Entrepreneur
Nomination submission
Nominees for the CBN Young Dragon Awards must be executives under 40 years old. Nominations must be submitted by a supervisor or senior executive within the nominee’s company—not by the nominee themselves. A company executive may nominate one or more employees, either within the same category or across different categories, using the open call process provided by CBN.
Evaluation process
All nominations in each award category will be assessed by the Award Committee, which comprises over 50 prominent figures from Cyprus’ business sector.
The committee will vote on all nominated candidates, and the top four candidates with the highest scores in each category will be announced publicly for a two-month public voting phase.
The final winners will be determined based on a 50/50 combined score from the public vote and the committee's vote. The committee will cast its final vote among the four finalists it initially selected.
