President announces May visits of Tenstorrent, Microsoft and Google

Delegations from Tenstorrent, Microsoft and Google will be visiting Cyprus this month, following the arrival of Amazon and Plug and Play. The news was revealed by President Nikos Christodoulides on his social media, who said the visits are the result of his recent visit to the USA.

"Following the visit to the USA, Amazon visited Cyprus on April 14–15 and Plug and Play on May 5–6," he posted on X. "On May 8–9, Tenstorrent will be visiting Cyprus, followed by Microsoft on May 19 and Google on May 20. Our homeland is emerging as an investment destination in the field of Technology."

Back in May, President Christodoulides said that he is fully satisfied with the outcome of the meetings he held in the United States this week, stressing that the effort to attract investments will continue in a targeted manner in other countries as well.

Responding to reporters - and comments suggesting that it may not have yielded the results he had hoped for- President Christodoulides asserted that “the visit produced specific results”.
