Deputy Minister of Innovation meets with Amazon officials

Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Nicodemos Damianou has met with Amazon officials visit Cyprus to follow up on President Nikos Christodoulides' recent visit to the US.

Damianou was also part of the President's delegation that met with US tech giants with a view of cultivating their interest in Cyprus.

In an Instagram post, Damianou said, "Honored to welcome representatives from #Amazon leadership in #Cyprus today, following up on the discussions held during the official visit of President Nikos Christodoulides to the US last week. Discussions focused on the capabilities of Amazon Cloud Services and Public Sector Solutions, along with the possibility of establishing #research and #development centers in Cyprus, as well as collaboration to strengthen the #innovation capacity of our local ecosystem.
