Average monthly earnings up 5% in Q4 2024

Average monthly earnings in Cyprus increased by 5% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, according to preliminary data released by CySTAT.

On a quarterly basis, and after adjusting for seasonal fluctuations, earnings rose by 1.2% in Q4 2024 compared to the previous quarter.

Specifically, the average monthly earnings reached €2,813 in the final quarter of 2024, up from €2,680 in Q4 2023. For men, average earnings stood at €2,979, while for women, the figure was €2,606.

Seasonally adjusted data showed that average monthly earnings amounted to €2,532 in Q4 2024, compared to €2,409 in the corresponding period of the previous year. Adjusted average earnings for men reached €2,712, while for women they were €2,310.
