Cyprus’ Generation Z Speaks: First insights from Leonidas Alexandrou’s landmark study

Following the recent announcement of the launch of the first comprehensive study on Generation Z in Cyprus, titled “A Pioneering Perspective on Gen Z: The First Comprehensive Study in Cyprus,” the research team has now begun analysing the responses, already uncovering several intriguing insights.

The study is being conducted by Pulse Market Research, under the initiative and scientific guidance of the renowned trainer and business consultant Leonidas Alexandrou. Its aim is to define the true identity of young Cypriots, free from international generalisations that often fail to reflect the country’s unique reality.

Initial findings reveal a highly ambitious generation, deeply interested in personal and professional development. At the same time, Gen Z in Cyprus displays a heightened sensitivity to price and value, characteristics of a mature and conscious consumer. Particularly noteworthy is the finding that women are emerging as the driving force behind Gen Z, both in terms of self-expression and participation in social and professional life.

Leonidas Alexandrou stated: “The analysis of the first data confirms the need for localised, targeted research. Gen Z in Cyprus is not just active—it is demanding, thoughtful, and ready to lead. This is a generation that needs to be heard, with strategy and substance.”

Panayiotis Panayiotou, General Manager of Pulse Market Research, added: “The findings of the study are not only revealing but are immensely useful for anyone aiming to truly connect with this generation, from brands and educators to policymakers.”

The final results of the study are expected to be published in within the month, during a press conference where key trends and actionable insights will be presented for the business, social, and education sectors.
