Ygia Polyclinic to acquire Eden Medical Centre

Ygeia Polyclinic is currently in the process of acquiring the Eden Medical Centre in Larnaca, according to an announcement by the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC).
The CPC said it has received a notification regarding the acquisition of share capital in Avalor Holdings Limited and Eveningfall Investments Limited by Ygeia Polyclinic Ltd.
And according to information obtained by InBusinessNews, the ongoing negotiations concern the acquisition of 100% of the medical centre's share capital.

According to the CPC announcement, the transactions will be carried out through Varante Holdings Ltd, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) established solely for the purpose of this acquisition.
Avalor Holdings, a company registered in Cyprus, operates the Eden Medical Centre, while Eveningfall Investments Limited, also registered in Cyprus, owns the real estate and assets.
What is the Eden Medical Centre
Founded in 2018, Eden specialises in injuries, disabilities, post-traumatic, oncological, respiratory and cardiological conditions. It offers high-level rehabilitation and wellness services in a luxurious and welcoming environment, at no cost to the patient.

Under an agreement with the Health Insurance Organisation (HIO), rehabilitation services are provided free of charge to patients under the General Healthcare System.

The Medical Centre is located on the Tersefanou hill in the Larnaca region, offering panoramic views of the countryside and the Mediterranean Sea. It is situated away from noise and pollution but remains within close proximity to shops and cafés.

It was created to offer first-class accommodation and hospitality, as well as top-tier services in luxury facilities. It consists of three main departments: the Rehabilitation Medical Centre, the Palliative Care Centre PASYKAF-EDEM, and the Post-Covid department.
