KPMG in Cyprus supports creativity and innovation through 'IDEODROMIO'

KPMG in Cyprus, committed to business transformation, education, and the development of young talent, proudly continues its active collaboration and support of the Creativity, Innovation, and Business Idea Programme 'IDEODROMIO' for the tenth consecutive year.

This initiative, implemented by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute, plays a vital role in fostering entrepreneurial spirit and thinking among students.

The Programme is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Youth. It aims to cultivate creativity, innovation, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial skills among secondary school students, as well as students from Technical and Vocational Schools of Education and Training. The programme is gaining momentum year after year, with this year’s edition commencing on 25 October and bringing together 22 teams and around 250 students actively participating.

Through the KPMG Startup Innovation Lab (KPMG SIL) team, KPMG in Cyprus actively supports the programme by delivering scheduled presentations and mentoring workshops, providing teachers and participating teams with essential skills and expertise.

Speaking on behalf of KPMG in Cyprus and KPMG SIL, Pangratios Vanezis, Board Member and Head of the Startups and Entrepreneurship team, commented, "Over the years, ‘IDEODROMIO’ has evolved into a cornerstone initiative, significantly contributing to the integration of entrepreneurial education into schools, fostering entrepreneurial freedom as a key to adding value to oneself, families, and society. We are excited to continue supporting this effort by offering mentoring, training, and participating in the judging panel during the Entrepreneurship Day Awards Ceremony on 10 April 2025. At KPMG in Cyprus, we remain dedicated to empowering young minds to take control of their entrepreneurial journeys, fostering both individual and societal growth."
