Bolsterup raises €500,000 to modernise construction industry

Cypriot startup Bolsterup has secured €500,000 in a funding round led by Greek venture capital firm Uni.Fund.

The investment is a key step in the company’s mission to modernise the construction sector, streamlining how professionals showcase their work, connect with stakeholders and unlock new business opportunities.

“Our mission is to bring the construction sector into the digital age, making project data and professional connections more accessible, transparent, and efficient,” said Joanna Krasia, co-founder and CEO of Bolsterup. “With the support of Uni.Fund, we are ready to expand our presence, enhance our innovations, and establish Bolsterup as the leading platform in the industry.”

Bolsterup has developed an AI-powered B2B platform that serves as a central hub for professionals, teams, and products in the construction industry. The platform also aggregates project data and eliminates information silos, fostering greater connectivity within the sector. In its first year of commercial operations, Bolsterup has achieved annual recurring revenues exceeding €200,000, with over 400 subscribers and clients in Cyprus, Greece, and the UAE.

The new funding will accelerate the startup’s expansion into new markets, with a particular focus on the UAE and the Middle East. It will also improve its technological infrastructure, integrating advanced AI and machine learning technologies for automated project data collection, optimising the user experience and further developing the smart matchmaking engine. Bolsterup plans to develop AI Agents for personalised data analysis, team creation support, and intelligent matching, all while improving decision-making processes and fostering new business opportunities for suppliers.

Sotiris Papadopoulos-Mantopoulos, Partner at Uni.Fund, commented, “Bolsterup is transforming the way construction professionals connect, collaborate, and grow. The company has already demonstrated its potential with strong initial market penetration and a clear plan for expansion and innovation, leveraging AI to provide value to all stakeholders. We are excited to support the team in the next stage of their development.”
